Because of that “Democrat equals Socialist” reality, one tactic in my personal war on socialism has to be to call out those who show themselves to be socialists.  Interestingly enough, it seems that all that is required is that one of these freedom-hating statists get in front of a friendly audience… then they admit it!

This brings me to my point… Rep. Diane Watson (S*-CA) was at a health care town hall meeting on 27 August where she praised Castro, Che Guevara, and the Cuban health care system (she must get her information from that propagandist Michael Moore).

The Cuban revolution that kicked out the wealthy, Che Gueverra did that, and then after they took over they went out among the population to find someone who could lead this new nation and they found, well, just leave it there.  [laugh] An attorney by the name of Fidel.

If you called Ms. Watson a socialist she would vehemently deny it because she knows that people do not like it when you label her ideology properly.  Simply put, she is a statist who believes that government owns it subjects.  She is also woefully ignorant of the chronology of the Cuban revolution and Castro’s role.

*I am not going to play along with the Democrat label.  She is a Socialist and will get an “S” instead.
