I support Ron Paul and I’m not between 20-40 years of age as stated in the article. I’m 61 and a Viet-Nam veteran. I’m not a republican,democrat or libertarian. I’m an independent who thinks our country is in one hell of a mess and headed for socialism under the O’bama administration. I do not think Romney is the sharpest tack in the box and believe he will mostly continue business as usual when and IF he’s elected. ( I think he will win) I think our government has overextended their authority on many fronts using terrorism as a ploy to rob the American people of their Constitutional rights and rights under The Bill Of Rights. I also disagree with some of Ron Pauls ideas, but most of them sound much better than those of O’bama or Romney, such as having smaller government with less government intrusion into our daily lives. I will concede that Mr. Paul has no chance to win this election as Americans aren’t ready to admit the socialist lifestyle our so called leaders are forcing on us and by the time they figure out they are in trouble it will be much too late for Mr. Paul to help.

As a left leaning anarchist (you could call me an anarcho-communist), I have to say, I’m reveling in much delight watching the GOP tear itself apart. The truth is, it is the TEA Party that killed the GOP with it’s insistence on trickle down economics, abortion/contraceptive bans, and hostility to gay rights. Yours is a party of the gilded age, the party of fearful little white men. Keep up with the social issues, and keep convincing yourself that going more to the right is the solution, Stay in your thought bubbles because if you decide to come out of them, then we might actually have to take you on on your own terms. It’s better If you guys just bury yourselves deeper whilst I munch on popcorn. I know you guys think we’re pure evil, but really, it’s the other way around, why else do you think the GOP is increasingly becoming a minority?

If you are really into the whole Marxism thing – which is nothing more than slavery to the State – might I suggest that you relocate to a Marxist country so that you can get a real taste of the immoral system that you love. Living in California like you do – enjoying the fruits of capitalism while seeking its destruction – is quite hypocritical, comrade.

As a Marxist revolutionary I can’t say I’m gloating over your predicament here, since I don’t see an Obama victory as a good thing either, but it would be entertaining to see the Tea Party start up an actual third party.
